Originally and proudly from Philadelphia, I am the daughter of two church choir soloists, and much of my early family and social life revolved happily and securely around St. Paul’s Reformed Episcopal Church in Oreland, PA. One of my earliest memories is singing Jesus Loves Me enthusiastically and often, even from the back seat of the family station wagon.

Prone to wander as a young adult, I made my way back to church in my twenties, drawn back by music and fellowship. But it wasn’t until I had moved to Vero Beach in my early thirties and became involved in Bible study that I began to understand the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus and His boundless grace. As I raised my three children with my husband, Dan, I adopted Romans 12:2 as my life verse: Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. This is a continuous reminder and comfort to me as I navigate through life in today’s culture, often feeling like an alien in a confounding world.

As a member of Christ Church from its inception, my lay leadership experiences, ranging from Music Ministry to Women’s Bible Study to Vestry, have continued to mold me in the knowledge and love of Christ. I am pleased to be able to contribute professionally to the building up of the His Body in this parish. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and have worked in consumer lending, manufacturing, and, most recently, as Assistant Executive Director to the Youth Sailing Foundation of Indian River County, a local non-profit organization. For the past ten years I have also developed and maintained a successful side-hustle as a Technical Editor in the flourishing needle crafts industry.

With children Christopher, Genevieve, and Eddie all launched into adulthood, it is now a bit easier to juggle my other interests of theatre, avid reading, following my favorite sports teams, and being on, in, or near the water.
