Sept 26 Through Nov. 4 - 40 Days for Life. Since 2007, more than 13,300 babies have been saved from abortion thanks to this annual campaign. Anglicans For Life is asking for prayers each day during the 40 Days for Life, Sept. 26 through Nov. 4, specifically for:
- unborn babies already scheduled for abortion to be saved and given the gift of life.
- parents contemplating abortion to spare the life of their unborn child
- the conversion of the parents and abortion staff workers
- the businesses that perform abortions to be closed
- the Holy Spirit to guide and protect those engaged in peaceful protests, providing sidewalk counseling and sidewalk evangelism

Sept. 9 through Oct. 8 – Christ Church Member Survey. Your Opinion Counts. The Christ Church Member Survey begins Sept. 9. The results from this survey will provide input on a variety of topics that are important to our leadership, including our search for a new Rector. Our goal for the survey is 100% of our members, aged 16 and over. For more information, please stop by the Help Desk in the Welcome Center between and after services on Sundays through Oct. 7.
Starting Sept. 10 – GriefShare. Christ Church will again offer a 13 week session of GriefShare for those who have lost a loved one, on Monday afternoons at 2:00 pm, beginning Monday, Sept. 10 in Conference Room 2. GriefShare is a support group we know you will find to be a warm, caring environment, as you come to see your group as an "oasis" on your long journey through grief. All are welcome, as the program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing. Starting Sept. 19 – Financial Peace University. Managing money doesn’t have to be stressful. Learn how to get out of debt and be in control of your finances. Classes for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University will be facilitated by Don Dexter and begin Wednesday, Sept .19 at 6:30 pm at Christ Church for nine weeks, ending Nov. 14. Please register HERE. Starting Oct. 10 - Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study. The Women’s Bible Study/Discipleship Group will resume their weekly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 10, in the 9.23 Community Center. We will gather at 9:15 a.m. for coffee, followed by teaching and discussion from 9:30 - 1:00 am and continue our study of King Solomon and following him, the kings of Judah. As always, emphasis will be placed on self-examination and the application of Scripture, that we may continually mature as fruitful disciples of Christ in both word and deed. Please come prepared with a Bible and notepad for any thoughts you might wish to record. Come and join us.
Starting in October - Daughters of the Holy Cross. Training classes for new members of the Daughters of the Holy Cross begin in October. The DOHC is a nurturing and empowering group of women and girls within the Anglican Church of North America who are united in committing their lives to the work and service of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and building

Ongoing – Classic Service Choir. Make a joyful noise to the Lord! So says the Psalmist and we need some new "noise-makers" to support the Classic service music in our Christ Church Choir! Rehearsals are each Wednesday at 4.30 p.m. in the Choir Room. Only requirements are a willing heart, time to attend rehearsals and Sunday services, and the ability to carry a tune! Oct. 12 - Dinner and a Movie. Enjoy dinner and a movie on Friday, Oct. 12 in the 9.23 Community Center. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the feature movie, I Can Only Imagine, will follow at 6:45 pm. We are offering free admission and general seating. The chicken dinner will be provided with a suggested donation of $5/adult and $3/child. Childcare will be available during the movie for ages up to age 8 with a reservation. Call the Office at 772.562.8670 to RSVP by Oct. 9 so we may plan for food, seating and childcare staffing.
Starting Nov 15 – New Life in Christ Class. Beginning Nov. 15, Bp, John Miller will offer a 14-week Confirmation-Inquirers-Membership class entitled New Life in Christ, focused on three topics:
- discovering what it means to be a church member from a biblical perspective
- a series of Bibles Studies examining the heart of the Gospel message and our faithful response to the Good News
- the riches of our Anglican heritage
Those who complete the class will be eligible for Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation with the laying on of hands, within the Anglican Church in North America, when Bishop Neil Lebhar returns to Christ Church on Sun., March 31, 2019.
