GriefShare Sessions Now in Progress
GriefShare begins the 12-week series again Jan. 11, 2021 in the Community Center at Christ Church. You can join us any week and may invite someone you know who is grieving the loss of a loved one to join us. The group is open to the community, as the program is nondenominational and features Biblical concepts for healing. If you would like more information about the program, please contact Carol Pearson at 772.231.0566, or visit www.griefshare.org.
Women’s Bible Study - Wednesdays at 9:30 am
Our Women’s Bible Study is led Deacon Kim Allen and Sandy Bowler and meets weekly at from 9:30 - 11 am in the Community Center. Our current study covers the entire Book of the Acts of the Apostles and we plan to finish it in May 2021. Bring a Bible and a notebook, and maybe a friend. Newcomers are always welcome!
Adult Bible Study - Thursdays at 7:30 am
The Adult Bible Class meets weekly on Thursday mornings in the Christ Church Conference Room. Coffee and donuts are served at 7:15 am; we end promptly at 8:30 am to accommodate our working members. The class is taught by Dr. Bill Blackburn and John Campani and all material is provided at each class.
Daughters of the Holy Cross
The DOHC is a nurturing and empowering group of women and girls within the Anglican Church of North America who are united in committing their lives to the work and service of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and building up His Body, the Church, through Prayer, Service, Study and Evangelism.
Currently, they meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month after the 10 am Healing Service followed by a simple lunch. For more information, please contact Martha Willoughby at 772.231.3702. We look forward to getting to know more sisters in Christ.
Military Moms Prayer Group - Thursdays at 5 pm
Christ Church hosts the MMPG each week in the Community Center. The group of moms, moms-in-heart, and others with a loved one serving in the armed forces is non-denominational, open to the community, and always happy to receive new prayer warriors. They bring individual names of military personnel deployed or in training known to them to the Throne Room of God each week.
Christ Church Choir & Band
Make a joyful noise to the Lord! So says the Psalmist and we welcome new voices to support the 10:30 am Worship service. Due to limitations imposed by the pandemic, our support is limited to a vocal quartet ensemble on Sundays but rehearsals are held on Thursdays. We have openings for additional band members or orchestral musicians. The only requirements are a willing heart, time to attend rehearsals and Sunday services, and the ability to carry a tune or play your instrument under direction. If interested, please call Brady at the Church Office – 772.562.8670.
