Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study
All ladies are invited to join our group to study God’s Word together on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am in the 9.23 Community Center. We are learning about Standing Firm in Shaky Times from Sandy Bowler, with lessons from 1 Peter. Bring a Bible and a notebook, and come early for coffee and fellowship in the café, prior to the class. Newcomers are always welcome!
Adult Bible Study - Each Thursday at 7:10 am
The Adult Bible Class meets each Thursday morning year-round in the church's Conference Room 2. The current study is on the lives and ministries of the 12 Apostles.
Coffee and donuts are served at 7:10 am; we end promptly at 8:30 am to accommodate our working members. All material is provided at each class and can be mailed to you upon request if you miss a week. The class is taught by Rev. Bill Earman (ret.) and is open to the local community, so please join us and invite your friends!
Grow and Be Fit - Each Thursday, 7 pm
Join Pastor Richard Demsick on Thursdays at 7 pm in Riverside Park for a walk/run over the Barber Bridge followed by a Bible Study. Walkers and runners need to meet at the base of the bridge (east side) at 7 pm, and the Bible Study at 8 pm will follow. All are welcome, no childcare is provided. Please call Pastor Richard at 772.766.6196 for additional information.
Christ Church offers 13-week sessions of GriefShare for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, whether recent or long ago. We are a warm, caring support group serving as an oasis on your long journey through a dry season of grief.
Our afternoon class meets weekly on Mondays at 2 pm in the church Conference Room through Dec. 2. The evening class meets weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm in the rector's office through Dec. 4. Because each class is its own topic, newcomers may join at any time.
This group is open to the community, as the program is nondenominational and features Biblical concepts for healing. If you would like more information about the program, please contact Carol Pearson at 772.231.0566, or visit www.griefshare.org.
Daughters of the Holy Cross
The DOHC is a nurturing and empowering group of women and girls within the Anglican Church of North America who are united in committing their lives to the work and service of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and building up His Body, the Church, through Prayer, Service, Study and Evangelism.
Currently, they meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the 10 am Healing Service followed by a simple lunch. For more information, please contact Martha Willoughby at 772.231.3702. We look forward to getting to know more sisters in Christ.
Ongoing – Classic Service Choir
Make a joyful noise to the Lord! So says the Psalmist and we need some new "noise-makers" to support the 9 am Classic Worship service music in our Christ Church Choir! Rehearsals are held each Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. Only requirements are a willing heart, time to attend rehearsals and Sunday services, and the ability to carry a tune! Brady Johnson, with assistance from our veteran choristers, will do the rest! If interested, please call Brady at the Church Office – 772.562.8670 – any week day except for Fridays.
