COME AND GROW WITH US!

Sunday School   |   9:00 - 10:00 am
A study for adults and teens each week in the Community Center. The current study is an Advent reflection on the themes of hope, faith, and peace led by members of the clergy.

Classes for kids and families are available so learning can happen together in the Christ Church Academy wing of the campus. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers.

Sunday Eucharist   |   10:30 am

Our Sunday worship service emphasizes the "three streams" of our Anglican faith: Scripture, Sacraments, and Spirit. The focus centers on the authority of Scripture and is expressed through observing the time-honored sacraments while experiencing the power, freedom, and ministry of the Holy Spirit. This is a liturgical service and includes Holy Communion; all baptized Christians are welcome to receive from the Lord's table.

Our service is also live-streamed. We look forward to seeing you!

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd   |   9:00 am & 10:30 am, Sundays

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is one way we help to form the faith and spiritual life of children. This sensory experience is specific to children ages 3 to 9 years in the Atrium adjacent to the Nave. Children in 2nd grade and up are encouraged to worship with their families, but may participate in the CGS program. We understand children are not usually still or silent, but we welcome them and believe there is great value to having them join us in worship. Our nursery for infants and toddlers is available.

Prayer Ministry

Deacon Kim Allen coordinates our Parish Prayer Ministry which includes an altar prayer team and intercessor groups. If you need prayer or an appointment, please reach out to her via email. She is also a Spiritual Director for those who are seeking guidance in a closer walk with or discernment from the Lord.

An Intercessory Prayer Team meets in person each Tuesday morning at 9:45 am to pray for the needs of our parish members, staff, clergy, and ministries.

GriefShare Sessions | Mondays at 2:00 pm

This class is welcomes newcomers any week through December 5.

GriefShare meets in the Community Center at Christ Church on Mondays at 2:00 pm, but is on summer break at this time. The program is nondenominational and features Biblical concepts for emotional and spiritual healing. For more information about the program, please contact Carol Pearson at 772.231.0566, or visit www.griefshare.org. If you want more immediate assistance, please contact Fr. Hunter for a personal conversation.

Women’s Bible Study | Wednesdays at 9:30 am

This class is studying an 18-lesson series on the gospel of Mark.

Our Women’s Bible Study is taught by Deacon Kim Allen and our women meet weekly on Wednesdays from 9:30 - 11:00 am in the Community Center. Bring a Bible and a notebook, and maybe a friend. Newcomers are always welcome!

Adult Bible Study | Thursdays at 7:30 am

The Adult Bible Class meets weekly on Thursday mornings in the Christ Church Library end of the Narthex and ends promptly at 8:30 am to accommodate our working members. The class is currently studying Biblical Prophecies and is taught by Dr. Bill Blackburn and John Campani. All material is provided at each class.

Morning Prayer | Thursdays at 8:45 am

All are invited to join us in the Nave on Thursdays for a weekly Morning Prayer service that follows the liturgy of the Daily Office and includes Holy Communion. It will last approximately 45 minutes. For the upcoming summer season, this prayer service replaces our Healing Service, formerly scheduled weekly at 10 am.

Daughters of the Holy Cross | Thursdays

The DOHC is a nurturing and empowering group of women and girls within the Anglican Church of North America who are united in committing their lives to the work and service of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and building up His Body, the Church, through Prayer, Service, Study and Evangelism.

Currently, they meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 11 am followed by a simple lunch. For more information, please contact the Church Office. We look forward to getting to know more sisters in Christ.

Military Moms Prayer Group - Thursdays at 5 pm

Christ Church hosts the MMPG each week in the Community Center. The group of moms, moms-in-heart, and others with a loved one serving in the armed forces is non-denominational, open to the community, and always happy to receive new prayer warriors. They bring individual names of military personnel deployed or in training known to them to the Throne Room of God each week.

Christ Church Choir & Band

Make a joyful noise to the Lord! So says the Psalmist and we welcome new voices to support the 10:30 am Worship service. Choir rehearsals are held on Wednesdays at 3:15 pm during the school year, and on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am during the summer. Orchestra and band rehearsals are on Thursdays at 4:00 pm. We have openings for additional band members or orchestral musicians. The only requirements are a willing heart, time to attend rehearsals and Sunday services, and the ability to carry a tune or play your instrument under direction. If interested, please call Brady at the Church Office.
